Junior Golf Academy

D’Arcy Ranch Junior Golf Clinic

Juniors of all abilities are invited to join this five week program. Golfers aged 6-18 are encouraged to participate and learn etiquette, basic rules and swing fundamentals. The classes are designed to provide instruction, along with plenty of time being allotted to hitting golf balls.  The kids are taught in their own age groups.

Classes are on Sundays starting May 4, 2025. One make-up class is scheduled at the end, if there are any cancellations due to inclement weather.

Cost:  $120.00 for series of 5 lessons.
Location:  Driving Range
Ages 6-9 10:00 AM-11:00 AM  and 11:15 AM-12:15 PM 
Ages 10+ 12:30 PM-1:30 PM 

Each class has a maximum of 24 students.

Clubs

• We encourage all children to  have their own clubs.
• The golf shop at D'Arcy Ranch Golf Club offers junior clubs for sale.
• Many used children's clubs are offered on market place web sites.
• If you need assistance in fitting clubs for your child, please let us know.
• We do have a limited supply of clubs to borrow.

Safety on Sundays

• Please drive carefully in the parking lot.
• Warn your children of the dangers of running in the parking lot.
• Be aware children are swinging golf clubs. Be careful.

Inclement Weather

• The Pro Shop will make any decisions on the weather one hour before class begins on the day of lesson.

Driving Range

• Juniors are encouraged to practice during the week. All juniors who are enrolled in the Clinic are eligible for 50% discount for a large bucket of balls.

Program Information

• At the start of each class students and parents will meet on the driving range.
• Parents are encouraged to stay through-out the class and feel free to help out. Safety is our main concern.
• Instruction will take place in three areas. - Driving Range -Putting and Chipping Green- Pitch and Sand Area.
• Children will begin to learn the basic fundamentals of the golf swing.
• Class dates are May 4,11, 25 and June 1, 8, 2025
• Sunday June 8 – Wind up
• Sunday June 15 – Make Up – if any classes were cancelled, this is the day we will make them up.

D’Arcy Ranch July Summer Junior Camp 

Junior Camps are on Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17, 2025.

This popular 2 day program includes instruction, rules, etiquette and competition. Lunch and prizes will be held on the second day following the morning session in the Banquet Room

Parent/Junior Night

JUNIORS GOLF FOR FREE when accompanied by an adult

Bring your parents out to have fun and play nine holes of golf any night. This is an affordable way for the whole family to golf. Maximum one junior per adult.

Tee off begins at 6:30 PM (Seasonally Adjusted)

Power Cart (optional) $18.00

Note: You must have a valid driver’s license to operate a power cart.

Junior Private Lessons: $50 for 45 minutes.
